Overview

Lurûrû Lochyû was founded durring the early 16th century in winter of the year 1526, by Geddei Èbêyê Brtëg̈. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Geddei Èbêyê Brtëg̈.

Lurûrû Lochyû was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lurûrû Lochyû is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Lurûrû Lochyû is is constructed arround a semi-circular narrow packed earth mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Lurûrû Lochyû's timber-based walls are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Something in your gut tells you that you may be unwelcome in Lurûrû Lochyû. The town seems like it’s not showing you the side of itself it would show to others. People mostly ignore your questions. Many folks ask you to leave their establishments, even before you’ve walked inside them.

Cultural Notes

Religious leaders are influential in almost any community, but in Lurûrû Lochyû they make up the final authorities. It may be an explicit theocracy, with rule by the clerics of a particular faith, or a temple might be so important and powerful that the official leaders are helpless to resist its will. The locals can be expected to be loyal adherents to the faith, or else the less pious majority is deeply intimidated by the religion’s believers.

Lurûrû Lochyû's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

In Lurûrû Lochyû every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.

The Ramidreju near Lurûrû Lochyû are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Lurûrû Lochyû's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves performance art to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 2 via proclamations.
